My Brother Jack, written and directed by Stephen Dest

Synopsis: My Brother Jack is a feature-length film about Jack and Vincent, two brothers who, as young children, witness the murder of their parents and grow up coping with this tragedy in very different ways; one through art (found object) and the other through illness (sleep paralysis) —when the opportunity for revenge arises, it becomes a mystery as to which brother has repressed the traumatic experience of his youth, and which brother has moved on. The film features several actors from the Indies Lab including: Meissa Hampton, Malcolm Madera and Mark Borkowski.

Current State: We wrapped principal photography in New Haven CT in early Febuary 2012 and are currently in Post-Production. My Brother Jack is writer/director Stephen Dest’s feature-length film follow up to his short film, Blind (Cannes Film Festival 2008).
